Account Master

  • Ledger accounts with alias, group, address, town, district, state and PIN code
  • Phones, email, fax, PAN, GSTIN and Aadhaar on every account
  • Opening balance (Dr / Cr), current balance and last transaction date
  • Interest % p.a. and credit period (days) for interest on outstanding
  • Active / inactive flag, quick search, and a guard against duplicate names

  • Cash receipts and payments as single entries - the Cash Account side is posted for you

Interest on Outstanding

Overdue interest on any party, worked out bill by bill.

On the Ledger Statement

  • Tick "Interest on outstanding" - 18% p.a. by default, or type any rate
  • Uses the account's own Interest % from Account Master when it has one
  • Interest starts after the account's credit period; oldest bills are settled first
  • Line-by-line working (bill, due date, days, interest) with the total receivable or payable

Roles & permissions

Users & passwords

  • User accounts with full name, role and active / inactive status
  • Change your own password; administrators can reset anyone's
  • "Must change password at next sign-in" for new or reset accounts
  • Passwords stored only as strong one-way hashes

Protection

  • Repeated wrong passwords are slowed down
  • A deactivated user, or one whose password changed, is signed out everywhere

Backup & Download

  • Administrators download all the data as one compressed .zip file
  • A CSV file per table (opens in Excel) plus a restore script that rebuilds the data in a new database
  • Choose whether to include users & roles, the audit log and settings; every download is audited
